The University of Toronto has implemented a successful tri-campus mental health strategy to improve services for all students as they undertake their academic and research goals. Located in the Office of the Vice Provost Students, the Senior Executive Director and Student Mental Health Team, collaborate with the tri-campus health centres, faculties, divisions and departments to optimize services, incorporate best practices and build university, hospital and community partnerships to achieve the vision of a service model that ensures equitable access to culturally competent mental health services and supports. Research, evaluation and measurement-based care are important pillars of this strategy as is engaging and collaborating with students in the co-design of solutions and projects that respond to student feedback and priorities. Reporting to the Senior Executive Director the SPA supports the planning, implementation and maintenance of tri campus projects and initiatives. The SPA works collaboratively with leaders, colleagues and partners across UofT and externally. The SPA is a lead and resource enabling analytics and reporting to support projects and activities. The SPA is a member of the OVPS Tri Campus Student Mental Health Team and participates in meetings and discussion to enable the advancement of all initiatives.
