Requirements

Level I High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in healthcare billing, collections & coding.
Experience with automated billing systems.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Must have previous experience coaching and/or developing staff.
Must have experience training new employees, handling product changes and new client implementations.
Required to uphold the principles of compliance as outlined in the Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook and related policies and procedures.
Supports and participates in the mandatory Corporate Compliance Program training initiative on an annual or more frequent basis, as required.

Responsibilities

Reviewing and processing all medical claims to the health plan in a timely and accurate manner.
Accurately assign/review ICD-10-CM, CPR and HCPCS code to outpatient medical records.
Enter and review claims into billing system.
Review missing documentation and request/obtain appropriate information from the PCP.
