About The Position

The Special Procedures Technologist coordinates the technical and patient-care components of angiograms, interventions, and other invasive procedures under the supervision of the Special Procedures Supervisor, Cath Lab Manager, and credentialed physician. The technologist is responsible for all aspects of patient care in accordance with hospital and department policies and procedures.

This is a temporary 13-week contract assignment, not to exceed 26 weeks. Contract employees are assigned to specific divisions and must have at least two years of experience in the relevant specialty area. The role involves 36–40 hours per week (72–80 hours per pay period), with 8-hour shifts or unit-designated work hours scheduled according to unit needs. Rotating weekends and call are required. Pay is $77.00 per hour plus applicable shift differential. This position is not eligible for benefits.

Requirements

• Graduate from an approved school of Radiology Science.
• Registered by the ARRT.
• At least two years of experience as a radiographer.
• At least two years of experience in the assigned specialty area to qualify for the contract assignment.
• Maintain BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of special procedures experience is preferred.
