About The Position

Performs Fluoroscopy and Scrubs Procedural Cases. Applies principles of radiation protection and quality control of C-arms. Exercises professional and ethical judgement in the performance of procedures, including providing fluoroscopy or scrubbing specific cases. Provides exceptional patient care, assisting with transportation and peri-operative patient care. Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Accredited Radiography Program, or equivalent.
  • Washington State license required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification or equivalent.
  • Surgical Technologist License or equivalent.
  • Current American Heart Association’s BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in additional modality, required.
  • Competency in components of radiography and procedural practice as appropriate.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and observe patient and maintain surgical care principles specific to pain management procedures performed within Interventional Pain Consultants.
