About The Position

Staples Promotional Products is a division of Staples and a national leader in the promotional products industry. They help customers build brand loyalty with customized merchandise solutions, creating promo experiences that make a lasting impact. This role involves managing projects for customer accounts, presenting promotional products and event solutions, and collaborating with sales representatives and customers to develop product offerings.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and building customer relationships.
  • Organizational skills with capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Purchasing product and vendor negotiation experience.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • 2+ years of project management.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent related experience.
  • 2+ years of Microsoft programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • 1+ years of industry experience with ESP or Sage.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Promotional Product Industry Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects for customers’ accounts to present promotional products and event solutions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by collaborating with Sales Representative and/or customers directly to develop product offering.
  • Negotiate with vendors, generate quotes, and execute orders.
  • Handle complex orders, including shipments, fulfillment, and rush jobs.
  • Anticipate customer needs and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Quickly solve order issues to provide the best solutions.
  • Create quotes and process orders efficiently.
  • Explore new product ideas by sourcing, researching trends, and collaborating with teams.
  • Build strong internal relationships for seamless customer experience.
  • Team up with sales reps on projects and keep communication clear.
  • Help process billing and resolve issues with the finance team.
  • Attend annual National Sales Meetings for new products, trends, and networking.
