KBR is actively recruiting for multiple Licensed Mental Health Counselors to support our Nation’s Special Operation Forces and their families, through the Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) program. In these roles, we are looking for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to work within a unit, on-site, as a Behavioral Health Counselor. You will be responsible for implementing policies, conducting screenings, clinical counseling and case management services, and prevention programming. You will serve as a point of contact for behavioral health services for active-duty Special Operations personnel, retired military members, their families, and others as authorized by DoD policy. You will provide a spectrum of behavioral health interventions, including interviewing, behavioral assessment, and evidenced-based therapies in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological and neuropsychological disorders using individual, family, and group psychotherapy, couples therapy, and alcohol and drug treatment evaluations. You will also plan, develop, and implement programs designed to foster positive healthy relationships within the family structure and unit connectedness, and promote and maintain communication and harmonious working relationships within the unit, POTFF program, and other DoD and outside agencies.
