About The Position
A family in Gainesville, FL 32608 is seeking an experienced and compassionate Part Time Special Needs Babysitter for their 12 year old son with Autism. The schedule for this position is June 3–June 24: Wednesdays and Thursdays, 1:00 PM–5:00 PM, and July 1–August 6: Wednesdays, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM and Thursdays, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM. The family resides in a smoke-free home and has five cats.
Requirements
- Previous experience caring for children with special needs and/or Autism required
- Ability to reliably commute to and from the family's home
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- First Aid/CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive childcare and supervision
- Assist with toileting and personal care needs (child wears pull-ups)
