About The Position
A family in Plantation, FL is seeking an experienced and compassionate caregiver to support their 30-year-old loved one with non-verbal autism. The ideal candidate will be dependable, patient, and comfortable providing companionship and transportation support to an adult with special needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder and/or special needs required
- Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and active car insurance required
- Ability to reliably commute to both the day program and the family's home

Responsibilities
- Pick up from the Michael Ann Russell Jewish Community Center day program in Aventura, FL and provide safe transportation to the family's home in Plantation, FL (approximately a 30–40 minute commute).
- Provide companionship and supervision until a family member returns home from work
- Support routines and provide a calm, structured environment
- Monitor for safety and communicate any concerns with the family
