In this role, you’ll work one-on-one in home and community settings, supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities as a trusted companion and mentor, helping them build skills, confidence, and independence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• One year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (Training may be available through our apprentice program if you don’t have experience)
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to appointments and activities

Responsibilities

• Support participation in community activities
• Empower clients to live independently and reach their full potential
• Assist with personal care (dressing, grooming)
• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities
• Engage in hobbies, activities, and meaningful companionship
