About The Position

24 Hour Home Care is hiring a part-time caregiver to provide non-medical in-home care to children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs). The caregiver follows individualized client care plans and provides periodic progress updates to the care team. Services may include personal care such as bathing, showering, and toileting assistance; meal preparation; companionship; medication reminders; and light housekeeping. The position involves supporting clients in their homes and may require travel to different cities.

Requirements

• Great communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Two references; at least one must be able to confirm disability-related experience.
• Proof of a negative TB test, as required by Regional Center regulations; requirements may vary by location.
• In-person Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid certifications.

• Ability to travel to different cities is highly desired.
