About The Position

Over the last 33 years, Dental City has become a key contributor to the dental supply industry right here in Green Bay, WI. As a nationwide distributor, we sell and ship the supplies dental professionals need to care for their patients. It’s our mission to make their lives easier through smart supply ordering solutions. As the Special Markets Key Account Manager, you will own and grow high‑value relationships across multi‑location practices, Dental Service Organizations (DSOs), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and procurement platforms. This role blends strategic account stewardship, business development, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive sustainable revenue growth and long-term partnerships. You’ll thrive here if you’re energized by influencing complex customer networks, spotting market opportunities, and serving as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in the dental industry (manufacturer, distributor, or dental technology) strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of DSOs, GPOs, and procurement platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage complex accounts with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation, consultative selling, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Financial acumen, analytical thinking, and detail orientation.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Dynamics or Access experience a plus.
  • A self‑motivated, competitive, results‑oriented mindset balanced with strong teamwork.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Ability to travel 10–20% for customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and training; some overnight travel required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a standard office environment; occasional off-site customer meetings and events.
  • While your primary workspace can be remote, you will be required to attend planned onsite days at our Green Bay, WI office for key meetings, training, and collaborative sessions throughout each year.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Strategic Growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new opportunities within DSOs, GPOs, and other special market segments.
  • Manage High‑Value Accounts (typically 10+ locations), ensuring strong performance, contract compliance, customer satisfaction, and long‑term retention.
  • Oversee Financial Performance through pricing management, contract negotiations, and chargeback accuracy—ensuring profitability and compliance.
  • Consult Internally with sales teams to support strategy, execution, and coverage, helping elevate organizational sales performance overall.
  • Represent the Brand at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to increase visibility and build strategic connections.
  • Analyze Market Trends to identify areas of influence, competitive moves, and new growth opportunities.
