About The Position

As a Special Investigator 2 with the Bureau of Enforcement and Investigation, you will play a key role in protecting the public by conducting detailed investigations. You will work on cases involving charitable groups and other regulated activities while helping uphold state laws. Requirements

• Four years of professional experience in criminal, civil, or administrative investigation work, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
• You must possess an active motor vehicle license
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex investigations through interviews, observations, evidence review, and site visits
• Serve as lead investigator on sensitive cases and help guide less experienced investigators
• Develop investigative plans, review complaints, and organize tasks to complete thorough case reviews
• Write clear and accurate reports that explain findings and support case decisions
• Protect identities, evidence, and information collected during investigations
• Appear at hearings or legal proceedings to present investigative findings when required
