Special Instructional Assistant (RRE)

About The Position
The Special Instructional Assistant role is a full-time, 10-month assignment spanning 183 days. The position is effective with the 2026–2027 school year. Pay is based on the Instructional Assistant Grade C2b Salary Scale, with credit based on years of full-time experience in a related position. Applicants must attach proof of highly qualified certification to their application to be considered.
Requirements
- High school diploma or recognized equivalent.
- Must meet one of the Title I paraprofessional qualification options: complete two years of study (48 credit hours) at an institution of higher education; hold an associate's degree or higher; or pass the Parapro Assessment through ETS.
- Proof of highly qualified certification must be attached to the application.
- Basic reading, writing, and computation skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an instructional assistant in a public school system or experience working with groups of children.
- Basic computer skills.
