About The Position
This position serves as a Special Instructional Assistant-Level I within a public school system. The role involves supporting educational activities and working with groups of children. The pay rate is based on the Instructional Assistant Grade C2b Salary Scale, with credit given for years of full-time experience in a related position. This is a full-time, 10-month assignment for 183 days, effective for the 2026-2027 school year.
Requirements
- Basic reading, writing, and computation skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent
- Must have completed two years of study (48 credit hours) at an institution of higher education; or Hold an associate's (or higher) degree; or Have passed the Parapro Assessment through ETS
- Proof of highly qualified certification must be attached to your application
