We have an exciting opportunity for a Special Hazards Construction Sales Representative to join our team. This role can be based out of our Fond du Lac, Appleton or Stevens Point, WI office. How you will contribute: This is a great opportunity to showcase your sales skills while playing a key role in acquiring profitable special hazards work for the company by working with customers and other internal sales members. You will review bid requests and gather drawings/specs, build estimates, and prepare proposals. You will be responsible for providing timely and accurate estimates within the specifications and customer requirements of each project. The Sales Representative is a technical expert and is, therefore, a key participant in bid/no bid decisions, in partnership with management.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree, or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience, working in the Special Hazards product line.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to maintain cutting-edge industry knowledge.
  • Ability to execute tasks with a great amount of detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience estimating in a construction environment is also highly desirable.
  • Experience may have been attained through other related roles such as design, project management, or sales.

Responsibilities

  • Acquiring profitable special hazards work for the company by working with customers and other internal sales members.
