About The Position

Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a Special Education Teacher in Pelham, New Hampshire, to serve students in grades 3 through 5 during the 2026–2027 school year. The organization uses a personalized placement process intended to align candidates with positions based on experience, preferred age group, caseload interests, and geographic preferences. Responsibilities may vary by placement. The teacher will deliver specialized instruction, develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), monitor student progress, collaborate with families and school teams, and support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and functional growth. Boothby offers ongoing mentorship, dedicated service delivery support, access to professional resources, and collaboration with related-service professionals and district teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid New Hampshire Special Education certification or eligibility for certification.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in school-based special education settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver specialized instruction to students receiving special education services.
Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Use evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions.
