About The Position
Linden Charter Academy, located in Flint, MI, is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. Opened in 1999, the school serves students K-8. At Linden, staff can connect passion with purpose. National Heritage Academies (NHA) provides students with specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from their disability, which may include resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services. Teachers will participate in professional development specific to special education curriculum and data tracking tools.
Requirements
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements. NHA will support you through your alternative certification journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability, such as: a resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
- Participate in professional development that is specific to special education curriculum, along with data tracking tools.
