About The Position

This role is an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of two exceptional students and their family by providing intensive, in-home academic support. The educator will serve as a consistent educational partner, meeting with the students multiple times each week to reinforce learning, strengthen routines, and help them build confidence and independence. This role requires a blend of educator, coach, and steady presence, involving personalized instruction, adaptation of curriculum from a homeschool hybrid program, and individualized support for academic and personal progress. A strong special education background or substantial experience supporting students with complex behavioral and learning needs is essential, particularly due to one student requiring significant behavioral support. The role also aims to reduce family stress by bringing consistency, expertise, and thoughtful collaboration into their home. Student Profile: The older student benefits from highly individualized instruction, predictable routines, and an educator who can navigate transitions and behavioral challenges calmly. He thrives with flexibility, calm leadership, and consistent expectations, learning best when instruction is tailored to his pace and learning style. His younger brother is easygoing, hardworking, and enjoys learning, responding well to calm, encouraging adults and predictable routines with positive reinforcement. While compliant, he benefits from an educator who can help him regulate emotions and gently redirect him back to learning. This is an engaging opportunity for an educator who enjoys personalizing instruction, building meaningful relationships, and celebrating progress.
