About The Position

Help middle school students in the Bolingbrook area build confidence, skills, and independence as a full-time Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year. In this role, you’ll support learners with diverse needs in a middle school setting, providing both specialized instruction and collaborative support. You will write and implement IEPs, differentiate instruction, and work closely with other educators, related service providers, and families to ensure that each student receives the services and accommodations they need. Requirements

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• LBS1 endorsement required
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to differentiate instruction and modify curriculum based on student needs
• Familiarity with behavior supports, accommodations, and inclusive classroom practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with middle school students or upper elementary preferred
