Special Education Teacher Long Term Substitute (IAR GR 7-8)
About The Position
Irving A. Robbins Middle School is seeking a long-term substitute Special Education Resource Teacher for a 1.0 position. The assignment is expected to begin in mid-March 2027 and continue through the end of the school year, June 11, 2027, with possible snow days. Compensation is per diem and varies by education level: Level 1, $302.00 for a bachelor’s degree; Level 2, $323.28 for a master’s degree; Level 3, $347.41 for a master’s degree plus 30 credits; and Level 4 for a retired teacher (rate not provided). Requirements
- Hold or be eligible for State of Connecticut certification in Special Education (113 or 165).
- Ability to supervise and coach paraprofessionals.
