About The Position
Now hiring qualified Certified Special Education Teachers (SPED) within a 60 mile radius of the greater Phoenix area of Arizona (AZ) for the '26/'27 School Year! Multiple Locations Across Arizona. Follows school/district calendar. Not required to work during school breaks. School Year contract with the high probability to extend into following years to come.
Requirements
- Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate.
- 1+ years of experience.
- AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on lesson planning with the mentor and master teachers.
- Assist in the design and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEP's) through diagnostic teaching, instructional adaptations, and individual behavior management techniques.
- Use formal and informal assessments to monitor student progress.
- Demonstrate accurate content knowledge of all subjects taught including integration and connection to other content areas.
