About The Position
Marshfield High School is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join their team starting in September 2026. The teacher will report directly to the Special Education Department Head, Building Principal, and Assistant Superintendent Student Services. The role involves developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and working with students with language-based disabilities.
Requirements
- MA DESE License: Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (5-12).
- Previous experience working with students with language-based disabilities.
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention.
- Strong parent communication skills.
- Ability to conduct behavioral assessments/observations.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred.
