About The Position
Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a Special Education Teacher for a full-time, high school-based position in Grafton, New Hampshire for the 2026–2027 school year. This unique opportunity offers an exceptionally manageable caseload serving just 4 high school students - allowing educators to provide highly individualized instruction and meaningful student support in a collaborative school environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education (minimum)
- Valid New Hampshire Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with high school students or secondary special education preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction to high school students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver specialized instruction aligned with academic, functional, and transition goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Monitor and document student progress using data-driven practices
- Support students with executive functioning, social-emotional, and academic skill development
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development
- Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment that promotes student independence and success
