About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in the Sierra Vista, AZ area. We’re seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting. This is an in-person, full-time role with a variety of settings available at the elementary and secondary levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field
• Active Arizona Special Education Teacher license
• Active Fingerprint Clearance Card

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
