About The Position

ESS Clinical is hiring a Special Education Teacher for an in-person assignment at Harmony Science Academy in Plano, Texas, for the 2026–2027 school year. The position is full-time, W2, and follows school hours, typically seven-hour days. The teacher will provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities, helping them address academic, social, and behavioral challenges and succeed in the classroom. Assignment opportunities may include multiple grade levels from PreK through grade 12, with work involving individual students, small groups, and whole-class support. The teacher will collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, school psychologists, families, and other support staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid state-specific Special Education Teacher license or certification.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.

• School-based experience is preferred; newer professionals are encouraged to apply, and mentorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals.
• Collaborate on developing and implementing intervention plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Support students’ social-emotional growth and behavior management.
• Assist with data collection and documentation for IEP compliance.
• Partner with educators, families, and support staff to support student success.
• Use differentiated instruction and intervention strategies.
