About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking dynamic Special Education Teachers to support students with diverse learning needs in Odessa, TX during the 2026–2027 school year. This role involves delivering specialized instruction and individualized support, adapting curriculum and teaching strategies to promote academic growth. The teacher will develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), using student data and assessments to track progress and guide instructional decisions. Collaboration with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams is essential for student success and effective communication regarding goals and progress. The position requires utilizing evidence-based practices, educational technology, and differentiated instruction to create engaging and inclusive learning environments.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid Texas Special Education Certification with Generalist (K–8) endorsement
Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card (FAST)

Experience supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, cognitive, or developmental needs in a special education setting preferred
