About The Position
Boothby Therapy Services is actively hiring Special Education Teachers throughout New Hampshire for the 2026–2027 school year. We partner with school districts across the state and have opportunities available in various special education settings including Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle School, High School, Resource Room Programs, Self-Contained Classrooms, Life Skills Programs, Behavioral Support Programs, and Autism Support Programs. Boothby takes a personalized approach, matching candidates with positions based on their experience, preferred age group, caseload interests, and geographic preferences. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field (required)
- Valid New Hampshire Special Education certification or eligibility for certification
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in school-based special education settings preferred
- New graduates and experienced educators are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized instruction to students receiving special education services
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions
- Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and functional growth
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
- Foster inclusive and supportive learning environments
