About The Position
This position is a Kingston Special Education Teacher which is located at Kingston Elementary School a K-2 school. This special education teaching position is working with students who have documented disabilities and require specially designed instruction.
Requirements
- Licensed to teach special education by DESE
Responsibilities
- Evaluating students
- Writing IEPs and Progress Reports
- Attending IEP Meetings
- Working with students on academic, social and behavioral skills
- Supporting students in a sub-separated classroom as well as the inclusion setting
- Communicating well verbally and in writing
- Collaborating with other staff members
- Taking part in professional development
