About The Position
Special Education Teacher role for the 2026-2027 school year. In-person, full-time role. Hello Special Education Teachers! Come work with a woman and therapist run company doing what you love! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a High School Setting III Behavior Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in the North St. Paul, MN area. We’re seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field
- Active Michigan Special Education Teacher license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4)
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred
Responsibilities
- Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
- Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
- Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
