About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Elementary ABS Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in the Coon Rapids, MN area. We’re seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting. This role involves creating an inclusive classroom setting, developing and implementing IEP goals and therapy plans, participating in IEP meetings, collaborating with school teams, partnering with teachers and families, maintaining documentation, and monitoring student progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field
• Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4)
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
