About The Position
Together for Youth Secure Detention is seeking to hire a fulltime Special Education Teacher to be responsible for preparing lesson plans and educating students at all levels. Duties include assigning homework, grading tests, and documenting progress. Teachers must be able to instruct in a variety of subjects and reach students with engaging lesson plans.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of practical teaching experience
- NYS Teaching Certification
- Proficient knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel
