About The Position
Redmond School District is seeking a 1.0 FTE Special Education Teacher for Sage Elementary School. Under general supervision, the Life Skills Teacher, also known as the Special Education Teacher, serves as a specialist for students placed in a Life Skills setting (ILS). The ILS program provides a more restrictive alternative to the Education Resource Center or General Education setting for students whose disabilities moderately to severely affect their education and who need support services to access and benefit from general education instruction. Redmond School District serves more than 7,000 students across Redmond and nearby communities.
