This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) Special Education Teacher position located at Taylor Elementary School for the 2026-27 school year. The role involves implementing instructional programs tailored to student needs, maintaining a safe environment, communicating with parents, managing student records, collaborating with school staff and community members, monitoring student achievement, and participating in professional learning. Requirements

• Teaching experience in the above mentioned area
• Knowledge of best instructional practices
• Ability to integrate technology
• Experience in educational and instructional leadership
• Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in Special Education

• Bilingual skills preferred
• Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or any other content area, is preferred but not required
