About The Position

Evergreen Center is seeking a bright and energetic Special Education Teacher to provide direct instruction and design curriculum for a small cohort of 7–8 students. The teacher works closely with special educators, behavior analysts, and paraprofessionals to support students with significant educational and behavioral needs in a supportive, fast-paced, data-driven environment. The organization emphasizes collaboration and the belief that everyone can learn, grow, and achieve greater independence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Experience caring for persons with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete educational assessments needed to develop students’ Individual Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop IEPs that meet students’ educational programming goals.
• Develop materials and instructional methods to meet identified goals.
• Complete quarterly progress-monitoring reports.
• Supervise and train instructors in implementing educational programming.
• Provide direct instruction and design curriculum for a cohort of 7–8 students.
