About The Position

Special Education Teacher roles for the 2026-2027 school year. Resource Teacher Positions. In-person, full-time roles. Tier 3 or 4 Special Education Teaching license required. Ampersand Therapy is hiring Special Education Resource Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in the Maplewood, MN area. We’re seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field
• Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4)
• Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
