About The Position

MIYO Health is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in a full-time, in-person role at an Elementary School in Bradford County, Florida. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a small, supportive classroom while helping young learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This is a full-time, in-person position for a K-2 Self-Contained Special Education Classroom with a small caseload of just 9 students in a supportive school environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Florida Department of Education Special Education teaching certification required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Passion for helping students reach their full potential

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with elementary-aged students with diverse learning needs preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction aligned with each student's IEP
• Develop engaging lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs
• Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with families, related service providers, and school staff
• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
