Special Education Teacher
About The Position
Cross Country Education is seeking dynamic Special Education Teachers for multiple school communities across North and Central Texas during the 26–2027 school year. Multiple openings available in: Fort Worth, Helotes, and Irving. This role involves delivering specialized instruction to students with diverse learning and behavioral needs in resource or self-contained classrooms. The teacher will develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and manage caseloads. Collaboration with educators, related service providers, and families is key to supporting student success. The goal is to create an inclusive, structured classroom that promotes positive behavior, engagement, and academic growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Texas Special Education Certification for the appropriate grade level(s) (Elementary K–5 or Secondary 6–12)
- Valid Texas Content Area or Generalist Certification corresponding to the assigned grade levels
- Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card (FAST)
