About The Position

Special Education Teacher role for the 2026-2027 school year in the Life Skills Education - Intensive Services Program (Behavior). This is an in-person, full-time position (37.5 paid hours/week). The role requires passing a background check and drug screening. Ampersand Therapy is seeking passionate and collaborative professionals to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field
• Active Oregon Special Education Teacher license
• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
