About The Position

Help K–5 students build confidence and achieve their academic goals! Cross Country Education is seeking a Special Education Teacher in San Antonio, TX to support elementary students through small-group instruction, individualized support, and team collaboration. Provide specialized instruction to K–5 students with disabilities in a resource setting, delivering engaging small-group instruction aligned with core academic standards. Plan, develop, and evaluate individualized educational programs while monitoring student progress and documenting services in accordance with IEP requirements. Manage an assigned student caseload, including implementing accommodations, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate special education documentation. Collaborate with the Special Education team and other school personnel to support student needs, instructional goals, and successful outcomes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Valid Texas Special Education Certification covering the assigned grade levels
Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card

Nice To Haves

Valid Texas Generalist Certification (K–5) preferred
Experience providing instruction and case management for students with disabilities in K–5 core academic subjects preferred
