About The Position
Nyman Associates is a trusted educational services provider specializing in school-based and early intervention therapy services, serving students and communities across a growing multi-state footprint for over 40 years. We're seeking compassionate educators to support students with varying educational needs. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing developmental support and educational services to students with learning delays or disabilities. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate to facilitate progress in key areas of development. Your role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized intervention plans, and implementing strategies to support students’ growth and learning.
Requirements
- State Department of Education Certification (Preferred)
- Teaching experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Providing student support
- Planning a program of study that meets students' individual needs, interests, and abilities
- Adapting curriculum and lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles
