About The Position
EDU-AIDs is seeking a certified Special Education Teacher to support high school students in Philadelphia, PA 19124 for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time position starting ASAP.
Requirements
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching License (required).
- Minimum one year of experience in a Special Education classroom.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, differentiated instruction, classroom management, and progress monitoring.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized and differentiated instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, school administrators, and families to support student success.
- Foster a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes academic, behavioral, and social growth.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and district requirements.
