About The Position
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in an Illinois school district. The teacher will lead a self-contained classroom of approximately 10 students, primarily with autism and varying levels of support needs. The role involves providing individualized instruction aligned with students’ abilities, learning needs, IEPs, and educational goals while maintaining a structured, supportive classroom environment. The position follows a school-day schedule of 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the appropriate Special Education endorsement.
- Strong classroom management, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Experience working with students with autism, significant support needs, or in a self-contained classroom.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a self-contained classroom of approximately 10 students.
- Support students with autism, including those with significant support needs.
- Provide individualized instruction aligned with student IEPs and learning goals.
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Implement positive behavioral and classroom management strategies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and support the development of student goals.
