About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring an Elementary Resource Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in the Brooklyn Park, MN area. We’re seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting. This is an in-person, full-time role (37.5 paid hours/week) at a specialty school focused on mathematics, science, and engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field
• Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4)
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
