About The Position
This role is eligible for a bonus up to $5,000. Canton Charter Academy, located in Canton, MI, opened in 2000 and serves over 750 K-8 students annually. It offers a nurturing and collaborative environment, has consistently surpassed local district benchmarks for 13 consecutive years, and provides world-class professional development, instructional materials, and a mapped curriculum with detailed lesson plans. NHA provides students with specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from their disability, which may include resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
Requirements
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements.
- NHA will support you through your alternative certification journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability such as: a resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
- Participate in professional development that is specific to special education curriculum, along with data tracking tools.
