About The Position
Now hiring qualified Certified Special Education Teachers (SPED) in Mesa, Arizona (AZ) for the '26/'27 School Year! This is a K-12th grade position with Resource and self-contained Teacher roles available. The role involves collaborating on lesson planning with mentor and master teachers, assisting in the design and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) through diagnostic teaching, instructional adaptations, and individual behavior management techniques. Additionally, the teacher will use formal and informal assessments to monitor student progress and demonstrate accurate content knowledge of all subjects taught, including integration and connection to other content areas.
Requirements
- Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate.
- 1+ years of experience.
- AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain.
Responsibilities
