Boothby Therapy Services is actively hiring a Special Education Teacher in Woodstock, Vermont for the 2026–2027 school year. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field (required)
- Valid Vermont Special Education teaching certification or eligibility
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in special education settings preferred but not required
- We welcome both experienced educators and those new to the field who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student goals and educational needs
- Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
- Monitor and document student progress using data-driven practices
- Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and functional development
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activities
- Foster inclusive, supportive learning environments that promote student success
