About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is now hiring Special Education Teachers in Moncks Corner, SC - for the 26-27 School Year and are interviewing now! This is an in-person full-time position where you will work with the Special Education Team to implement accommodations, interventions, etc. according to student IEPs. You will also attend staff meetings, IEP meetings, and coordinate with school teams.

Requirements

• Valid South Carolina state teaching license in area of Special Education
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Must have SCDOE Teaching Certificate in area of Special Education

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
• Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects
• Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs
• Incorporate technology and resources to enhance learning
• Work with Special Education Team to implement accommodations, interventions, etc. according to student IEPs
• Attend staff meetings, IEP meetings, and coordinate with school teams
