About The Position
Adelphi is seeking Special Education Teachers to provide services to students at schools in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidates will deliver specialized instruction and implement individualized education programs to support students with disabilities in achieving academic success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education
- Valid Texas Special Education certification
- Experience teaching or supporting students with disabilities in a school setting
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and regularly update measurable IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications aligned to TEKS standards and individual student needs.
- Deliver differentiated, evidence-based instruction in inclusive, resource, or self-contained settings to ensure access to the general education curriculum.
- Collect, analyze, and report student performance data to monitor progress toward IEP objectives and inform instructional adjustments.
- Collaborate proactively with general education teachers and multidisciplinary team members to ensure effective implementation of instructional strategies.
- Perform other nursing-related duties as assigned.
