About The Position

Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher in Winchester, New Hampshire, beginning in January 2027, for the 2026–2027 school year. The organization uses a personalized placement process that considers candidates’ experience, preferred age group, caseload interests, and geographic preferences. The teacher will receive support from a dedicated Service Delivery Manager, ongoing mentorship, access to resources and professional development, and opportunities to collaborate with related-service professionals and district teams. Responsibilities vary by placement and may include specialized instruction, IEP development and management, progress monitoring, documentation, family and team collaboration, and supporting students’ academic, behavioral, social, and functional growth. Background checks will be conducted on all final candidates.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid New Hampshire Special Education certification or eligibility for certification.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in school-based special education settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver specialized instruction to students receiving special education services.
Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Use evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions.
Support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and functional growth.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
Foster inclusive and supportive learning environments.
