About The Position

Special Education Teacher role for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an Elementary Emotional Behavior Disorder Center-Based Teacher position. It is an in-person, full-time role. A Tier 3 or 4 Special Education Teaching license is required. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening. Ampersand Therapy is hiring an Elementary Emotional Behavior Disorder Center-Based Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in the Brooklyn Park, MN area. Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field
• Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4)
• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
